Job Summary:
This career opportunity is with Wipro’s Finance organization. The finance team is spread across globally and cuts across traditional core finance functions such as treasury, taxation, audit and controllership as well as commercial roles such as business finance, financial planning, pricing, contracting etc. The finance structure in Wipro augments evolving role of finance in an organization both as a controller and a business partner or a co-pilot.
We are recruiting highly motivated and accomplished individuals with relevant experience and strong academic background. Additionally, candidates must thrive in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment and IT. Those hired will join a successful team with a broad and deep range of experience across functional spectrum within finance as well as entrenched knowledge of business.
Desired Skills and Experience
7+ years experience in Business Finance
Business Finance supporting respective business units
- Independently responsible for handling Business Finance for a business division.
- Lead a team of 3-5 people and be responsible for revenue assurance and closure, drive contract and price negotiations with the customers, work with the business heads in driving profitability.
- Support and lead M&A transactions.
- Support business unit growth through revenue and profit analytics
- Support delivery groups to drive supply chain matrix
- Support sales team with pricing and contract negotiation with clients.
- Ensure financial controls are in place for the respective business units
- Monthly and quarterly book closure at business unit level.
- Responsible for ensuring accounting principles are adhered to.
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Responsible for MIS reporting and analytics for Wipro’s IT Services business.
- Month and quarterly book closure and MIS reporting at Wipro level.
- Responsible for Financial Planning across IT business for Wipro.
- Drive Sales and Supply chain analytics and operations across the organization.
- Ensure accurate payout of sales commissions across the organization.
- Benchmarking studies and competition analysis across the industry.
