ASSISTANT MANAGER ACCOUNTS
Location: Gurgaon
The main purpose of this job is to handle import transactions, inter company accounting & reconciliation, foreign remittances, CAPEX management, budgeting, forecasting & year end closing for the smooth business operations
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In this position you are reporting to the Finance Manager - India region and your main responsibilities include the following:
Accounting:
1. Handling of all inward and outward foreign transactions like purchases from SFL, IT services from DSW, CAPEX, Communication expense reimbursements and also the commission on the direct shipments.
2. Ensure Timely remittances towards transactions coordinate arrange documents required by bank execute remittance.
3. Handling and reconciliation of GR/IR, Custom duty and foreign vendors.
4. Responsible for accounting of all fixed assets, CWIP related to the office and retail stores.
5. Coordinate with RAM and ensure the document flow and payment process for the retail architecture and other capex in the stores.
6. Accounting of monthly entries in SAP related to depreciation, FX entry, devaluation, CVD and warranty provisions on a monthly basis.
7. Act as a back of Manager-Finance in his absence or take up task of other accounting team members in their absence.
Monthly and Quarter Closing, Budgeting & Forecasting and Audit etc:
1. Monthly accruals for expenses like devaluation, CVD, warranty provision etc.
2. Ensure that monthly, quarter and YEP closings are done within timelines.
3. Write first level comments for quarterly, year end comment file & review with Finance-Manager for finalization.
4. Circulation of monthly reports to VG management after month closing.
5. Coordination for data quality management on monthly basis.
6. Actively participate in the preparation of annual budget and forecast.
7. Coordinate year-end balance confirmation process with foreign parties.
8. Assistance in statutory audit for relevant areas.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Educational Requirement - Chartered Accountant with 3- 5 years experience
Industry Background - Preferably lifestyle Retail skills
Language Skills - English fluently in speech and writing.
A motivated talent with below skills:
1. MS office
2. knowledge of SAP
3. Communication Skills
4. Good Analytical Approach
5. Clear Accounting concepts
