Things I learnt about those who got business school calls this year:

1. Most of them had an epiphany in their 5th and 6th standard that MBA was the right thing for them.
2. Most of them still decided to prepare for and then do engineering to gain valuable technical knowledge.
3. During a cultural fest in their B.Tech they realized how they were good at marketing/operations/finance and remembered about their childhood epiphany.
4. All of them want to become a senior manager in a reputed company with decision making role in the short term.
5. In the long term, all of them want to start a firm with the fundamentals learnt in engineering and the business strategies they learnt in MBA.
6. Somehow they have all worked with an NGO and believe in giving back to the society.
7. Their work ex is something that they really enjoyed and now they want to scale it up. They also learnt everything regarding team work, leadership by sitting in the cubicle.
